" where are you from?"

This is a installation is to focus on people's identity to let people with similar situation to know that many people in the world are feeling the same way and that it's not necessarily a bad thing. They get to learn a lot more of the goods from different cultures by living in them. Through this piece they can also connect to these people and to try to figure who they want to be or identify themselves as of where they are from.

This installation uses images of people's portrait on one side and mirror surface on the other side. This installation is for many people that are trying to figure out who they are and where they are from. I grew up in an international school back in Taiwan, and many people have came to realize they don't know how to answer the question " Where are you from?". These people have lived in so many different countries and they have so many different identities. They can't give a simple answer to the question. Home to them is wherever their family is but about where they are from, they belong to to many different countries.
